Strike the Blood was one anime series for the Fall anime season that was anticipating greatly. So much in fact that as was at school actually preparing for an exam kept having invading thoughts of how awesome it would be in its first episode.
Once actually did watch thought it was just about right from where pictured the series would be like once it premiered. Strike the Blood’s universe centers around a world where all types of monsters, humans with magic powers, and superhumans exist. Akatsuki Kojou the main guy turns out to be a vampire and seems like he is being followed by a school girl who might go to his school. All this seems pretty normal until said girl gets sexually assaulted by two older guys who want to hit on her despite how much she tells them no. She ends up fighting them in front of Kojou. She is no regular human but a sword shaman.
|Strike the Blood’s first episode has its share of good fighting action scenes mostly involving Yukina.|
Yukina Himeragi is out to get him and observe his moves by order of The Lion King Organization. Still what is more surprising with Strike the Blood so far is that Kojou is called the Fourth Progenitor vampire. A vampire that can create other vampires but he originally was not the progenitor but a regular human meaning someone forced the progenitor responsibility on him.
Anime trends seem to have a lot of anime guys having silver/grey/white hair more and more. Making them seem cooler. Kojou seems like an interesting character already seeing as L-Elf (Valvrave the Liberator) has such a color scheme of cool looks. See Toshiro Hitsugaya too.
There is a lot of mystery still but the series does have potential. A pretty good episode and maybe it will stay strong in story development and character development. The animation is not a huge worry considering the animation is beautiful and the fighting scenes show great movement. Strike the Blood is one of the anime series this Fall that have a strong feeling would turn out being really great but then again even before it aired was very excited for its arrival.
