Valvrave the Liberator 2 Episode 1 Fall 2013 Anime Review {Liberate!}

 Valvrave the Liberator 2 Episode 1-The children of the valvraves

They’re all vampires!

The Magius!
Secret conspiracies. The Illuminati ,well, actually you know the Magius.

Valvrave the Liberator Season 2 The Magius

The crazy valvrave vampire AI-Plu is a huge hater. Plu and Haruto’s valvrave ,Pino, almost reunite but are cut short. Everyone happened to make it out of the attack from Season 1’s Valvrave the Liberator Finale episode. All the favorite characters which include Haruto, L-ELf, Shoko, and Rukino made it to the Moon. Those involved with the more political side of things really are just being pushed around and easily put in their place since even though Shoko is the prime minister and political leader of JIOR the other countries see her and those in the new established JIOR government as newbies where they can easily decide for them. Shoko seems to be growing quite depressed there and almost seems to take it as her mission to make a good future for everyone through politics so she studies a lot throughout the episode.

Valvrave the Liberator 2 Episode 1- JIOR governement meetings

Valvrave the Liberator 2 Episode 1-L-Elf and ShokoL-Elf is right at home military wise. He is definitely going to be leading Haruto and the valvrave pilots into future battles.

Rukino is quite the commercial star and singer now too.

Haruto though is the one that continues to bear the pain of being a pilot of the original valvrave. He still has vampire attacking urges toward humans. To remedy it Haruto and L-ELF plan to share the curse by having Haruto bite L-ELF when his urges are at the bursting point.

While these are all big surprises the biggest would have to be the reveal of even more advanced VALVRAVES! The valvraves right now are impressive so I’m fearful of what the newer models can do.

The animation was pretty strong and the episode was satisfying without leaving you hanging or feeling like you are going to be in major pain until the next episode although you will be looking forward to the next one. Watch Valvrave the Liberator 2 on Crunchyroll on Thursdays at 2pm (North America).

Valvrave the Liberator 2 Episode 1- Opening Theme Song
“Pretty good song although the animation sequence is much more attention grabbing compared to the music. That is not to say the Opening Theme Song is not good. Kakumeiki Dualism has good singing by Nana Mizuki and T.M. Revolution and gives you chills. Compared to other Opening theme songs it is exceptional. Personally divided on whether love this or last season’s Opening Theme Song “
