Reflection: Farewell, Attack on Titan, for now?

Attack on Titan-Titan in the wall

Attack on Titan– A titan in the wall. The mystery continues.

Eren, Armin, and Mikasa realize that Annie Leonheart the elusive female-form titan but it is Eren’s hesitation that causes problems for everyone. His inability to accept Annie as a traitor causes a lot of people to die. Only after a while does he realize he must re-evaluate the fact that Annie was once his friend. He finally surrenders his humanity in order to protect those he loves who still live which are Armin and Mikasa and the few surviving members of the survey corps Captain Levi included. He also does it to protect the memory of his fallen comrades.

Even after everything in Attack on Titan the final episode manages to pull of even more action punches at everyone.

The feel of the anime series in Eren’s last battle is full of awe inspiring frenzy. The animation managed to still remain to be always on the top to the end. Eren ends up losing to Annie and  takes the secrets of the titans with her.

A lot is left to the imagination on what is going to happen next in concern of Annie and why she is a traitor, the secrets of the basement of Eren’s dad, and the future of the survey corps too. SO really hoping for a Second Season! And really hope the producers and creator of the Attack on Titan anime series’s original vision (Hajime Isayama who wrote the original manga series) realize how much fans want and would appreciate a further continuation of Attack on Titan. Thanks also go to chief director of animation ,Tetsuro Araki, for the anime series direction and the hard work put into the series that made its way to anime fans everywhere.

Attack on Titan

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by enclosing themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.
