Summer vacation has now started and with it there will be more time for me to blog about what love most which is anime! There are several season returns this Summer 2014 as well as some new anime series that look interesting.
For the sequels or season returns: Free! Eternal Summer, Re: Hamatora, Black Butler 3, Space Dandy, and finally Sword Art Online 2. Most of the other series that plan on mentioning and following are new anime series that are going to premiere that I am really excited about. I’ll review the ones that really stand out to me as their air dates draw closer by doing some first looks and afterwards depending on how impressed by a series then review for a few episodes to give ideas on if a series has any potential. As always depending on how good think a series is I’ll follow through with a complete series review on the blog later.

Of all the titles some of the ones most excited are Free! Eternal Summer to see what is new with Haru and the gang. Next up is Re: Hamatora since really loved it when it was airing. By the way, you can find some of my past reviews on the series on the blog. In third place really excited about Black Butler 3: Book Of Circus. I am really wondering where it is going storyline-wise and just how the adaptation will go in terms of mood: darker or more comedic as the previous anime series installments went. Coming next I am also excited for Sword Art Online 2 considering discovered recently the girl with blue hair in all the promo art out right now is not Asuna the girl Kirito is known to love but some new character. I am wondering what’s going on? I am quite sure that some romance between this new girl, Sinon, and Kirito might develop and while I am not too cheerful about that since loved Asuna still want to see the series. Lastly, Space Dandy’s season 2 is something cheerful about considering hope we get to see Adélie. The first season had some episodes that were better than others but overall the series is straight fun and some episodes downright intelligent like the references to George A. Romero and his zombie movie influence.
Ao Haru Ride, Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo ESP, and Aldnoah. Zero are some series just interested to see what they offer as new anime series. Of the four, Ao Haru Ride though drawn in also because Maaya Uchida will voice act the character Mutaba and Yuki Kaji will voice act the character Ko. They are some of my favorite voice actors so interested in their latest projects.
Aldonah. Zero interested for the mecha but also because Gen Urobuchi will both be the writer and director to the series. I enjoyed his work for Psycho-Pass so very much so looking forward to this mecha anime series, Aldnoah.Zero. It has nice visuals so far and hoping its telling of its high quality animation too. The rest as always are of interest based on animation and story concept.
