Can you believe the news? This is such a surprise! For those in North America it has been about 10 years since the premiere of FLCL on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block in 2005/2006. I for one think this is amazing news and totally welcome this. Many of you might not know this but this is like one of the first anime to show itself on TV in North America when Toonami was still somewhat young. I also count this as a huge anime classic over the fact that it might have introduced many anime fans to JRock music for the first time. I mean who could ever forget the music of The Pillows?
Ahh, their Rock music was something else and to this day I see FLCL as synonymous with The Pillows. Heck, even Haruko from FLCL (Fooly Cooly) has a guitar around with her in the anime series.
